Quincy Institute’s Veterans in Foreign Policy Initiative hosted a private screening of Bodyguard of Lies, the recently released documentary directed by Oscar-nominated filmmaker Dan Krauss and based on the groundbreaking reporting of Washington Post journalist Craig Whitlock.

The film features never-before-seen interviews revealing the cover-up surrounding the failures of the U.S. war in Afghanistan.

Watch the post-film Q&A with director Dan Krauss and producer Brad Hebert, and featuring General David D. McKiernan (Ret.), who served as Commander of both the International Security Assistance Force and United States Forces-Afghanistan from 2008 to 2009.

The event took place on Wednesday, November 19th from at the Hill Center at the Old Naval Hospital, @HillCenterDC
