So, it is finally here.
This was the project I have been working on for so long, since April to be more specific. April was the month to raise awareness about Sexual assault, abuse and the victims of those crimes. That month gave me a courage and a voice, a voice I havent had for so long. I know I said it'd be almost 3 minutes long but turns out it was like that because the audio had an outro which I cut out since then.
Now onto a few questions some may wonder
1. *if this was so personal then why did you share it publicly?*
To show that this can happen to absolutely anyone. No matter what gender, age, sexuality, religion or race, it can happen to anyone.
2. *do your parents know?*
Yes, they do. But I never got help from them, by this I mean that they never got me a therapist about it or anything.
3. *is this person still in your life?*
Some point, saddly yes. But I pretty much cut them off, but since he's family my mother still saddly talks to him on the phone at times.
This experience is what had made me grow up earlier than I should have. Which is why I may sometimes act childish even though I'm 16. The sad thing about this that it all only came back to me last year when my dysphoria started. Experiences like this can affect someone both mentally and physically as well as cause ptsd and emotinal scarring as they grow older. And some people dont get to move on from this, ever. This is why I'm begging you, if you're in a similiar situation, or someone you know is, tell someone! You're not alone and it is not your fault! You are a victim for a reason, it is NOT your fault at all!
If you can, please consider donating to these charities that help victims and survivors!
