The search for a missing 5-year-old ended with the discovery of her body on Monday morning.

Deputies say Saylor Hayes wandered away on Sunday from the home her family was renting on Pawley's Island, South Carolina.

Saylor's body was found on the second day of the search.

The little girl was located near the area where she was last seen.

Divers, deputies, K-9 units, and searchers in boats were involved with the efforts to find the girl.
