Around 1,5 years ago i once made a remix of Neebs Gaming's intro, youtu.be/ZZE9kTHSrKQ , this suddenly skyrocketed and even got used in some of their videos.
After that i got the honor of making the music for one of their animations.
Some time later i started working on this one, but after i finished a rough draft of it i kinda abandoned this project, because it didn't feel like it would do the original justice.
As a fellow animator, musician and game enthousiast I really admire these guys and i recently tried to touch this song up a bit and rework it. I didn't want to just copy the same style of the intro so i tried to make it in another kind or vibe. Something that would fit an ending theme. That ment that i had to drop the genius lyrics, but to be honest nobody would be able to nail it as good as them.
I still had some issues with it, but its the best i could've done for now and i still wanted it to be up somewhere.

This theme is such an earworm. Even with just 30 seconds it captivates a lot and its been in my mind for a long time. The problem i had was how to extend a 30 second song into a full remix without it sounding too repetitive?

This is the second of the three remixes i made for the touhou inspired fan arranging album Suite ad Astra released by Crescentia. The theme of this album was Space which gave me the oppertunity to experiment more with orchestral and synth instruments.
On the album this song is called The Haunting Serenity of Cold Space. Originally its a track from the Touhou cd Retrospective 53 Minutes, i really recommend you checking it out!
Ofcourse this song couldnt be possible with the amazing vocals of AirahTea, i cant believe how amazing he voice is and how amazing of a person she is to keep up with the ridiculous requests i have.

This is kinda unusual compared to my normal uploads. To be honest i kinda am on an hiatus from composing game music (But not for long!). I just need to take some rest and get some inspiration what to do next.

But back to the video: Neebs Gaming is a channel i follow/fell in love with a long time ago. And as a fellow Animator/editor i always loved the animation series they made before that.

A bit of an unusual remix this time.
When i heard this song it was so simple, yet hypnotising, that i wanted to give it a try.
On another note: lately ive been in a creative slump, both music and art-wise. Hence why this remix might not be as ambitious as some others. Next to some irl stuff ive been working non-stop on other exciting projects and its kinda getting to me. Everything i make looks or sounds a bit like trash in my ears.
