A great sentimental record. Charted at #66 on Billboard Hot 100 in March 1967. Original Billboard review: "Plaintive ballad gets an emotional reading by the "Coming Home Soldier" star, and the result is a hot chart contender". Note: "Coming Home Soldier" was Bobby's previous single. Written by Ray Stevens (who also recorded it). B-side is "Sweet Maria", which I have also posted.
