UncommentatedPannen | BoB Relocating the Stationary Bob-omb @UncommentatedPannen | Uploaded 5 years ago | Updated 14 hours ago
I show how to relocate the stationary bob-omb in Bob-omb Battlefield to an arbitrary new location.
This video was inspired by Ethan White's video, in which he showed that we could instant release the stationary bob-omb (youtu.be/v8oJpPwBZM8). That method alone can only move the bob-omb to a new lateral location while keeping its height the same. In my video, I take it one step further by showing how to move the bob-omb to an arbitrary new location, including changing its height.
This technique doesn't have any practical purpose, but is just something I challenged myself to do after seeing Ethan's video.
Prerequisite videos for understanding everything in this video:
Releasing Objects: youtu.be/lbgYAyzaT8w
Instant Release: youtu.be/CDPZK9P2ibg
Grabbing + Deactivating a Bob-omb: youtu.be/jpiAXiiODSI
Note: The reason I had to instant release the bob-omb twice instead of just once is because after one instant release, the bob-omb is too high to have it snap to Mario when he's near the elevators. So instead, I do it twice: first to move the bob-omb lower, and second to put the bob-omb 4000 units away from the elevators.
