A quick comment on the Folded Space Insert: It feels like the makers of the insert had never played Frosthaven or understood how any of the pieces were used in the game. It felt like an approach that had a single goal in mind: get everything to fit in the box. As mentioned in the video, we use a BCW box, plastic bags, the included insert, and a 3-Ring Binder with Ultra-Pro pages to store all the buildings our settlement has built and items available for crafting and purchasing.
And another quick comment on Guards of Atlantis II: The game truly is magical. It reminds me a lot of the feeling I get when I'm playing Gloomhaven but in a competitive team setting. I've had fun discovering the characters and exploring the system and play-styles available while also understanding and appreciating the game design as a whole and each decision that was made to refine the experience. I'm going to talk more about it as an Honorable Mention in my Top 100 Board Games of All-Time video as it deserves to be mentioned as it missed the creation of the list this year. SideGame Strong!
