The County Board voted at its organizational meeting on Tuesday to designate and pay for only one official newspaper in 2026. The decision was approved with a 4–1 vote following a discussion of publication costs and budget constraints. Under this action, the Herald Review was chosen as the county’s official publication. Scenic Range News Forum will no longer receive county payment for official proceedings, financial statements, and delinquent tax notices.
