It is powered by a 625 hp twin-turbocharged V8 engine, accelerating from 0–62 mph in just 3.8 seconds, putting it in direct competition with models such as the Audi RS Q8, Mercedes-AMG GLE 63 Coupe, and Porsche Cayenne Coupe.
Despite its size and weight, the X6 M Competition offers impressive handling thanks to adaptive suspension, sharp steering, and a rear-biased all-wheel-drive system. It feels stable and comfortable on the motorway, while also being one of the most engaging SUVs to drive on winding roads. Around town, however, its large dimensions, firm suspension, and limited visibility make it less practical.
Inside, the cabin features premium materials, supportive sports seats, and BMW’s excellent 12-inch infotainment system with touch, rotary controller, and voice controls. Front-seat space is generous, although rear headroom and cargo capacity are slightly compromised by the coupe-style roofline compared with the BMW X5 M.
The X6 M Competition stands out with its bold styling, including a large front grille, aggressive air intakes, oversized wheels, and sporty design elements. While its appearance may not appeal to everyone, it reflects the car’s performance-focused character.
