Charging your car at home has never been more seamless. The BMW Wallbox, professionally installed by a trained technician, ensures a stress-free experience.

An exceptional feature of the car is its ability to harness solar energy from the panel roofs. Through Connected Phone Charging, the My BMW App intelligently detects available solar panel charging and directs it straight to your Wallbox. Even on cloudy days, the system seamlessly transitions to grid charging at a lower power level. Need a quick charge? Deactivate optimisation and tap into full power from the grid.

In a busy household, Connected Home Charge effortlessly balances power usage when appliances like washing machines draw significant power. With the default setting in the My BMW App, your car receives the maximum available power, ensuring it's always charged even during appliance usage.

Amidst the chaos of trip planning, charging your car is one less worry. Explore more features in the BMW Charging Made Easy series for a deeper understanding.

BMW i5 eDrive40
Combined power consumption: 19.7–15.9 kWh/100 km. Combined CO2 emissions: 0 g/km. Electric range: 472–582 kilometers. All data according to WLTP.

Official data on fuel consumption, CO2 emissions power consumption and electric range were determined inaccordance with the mandatory measurement procedure and comply with Regulation (EU) 715/2007 valid at the time of type approval. In case of a range, figures in the NEDC take into account differences in the selected wheel and tire size; figures in the WLTP take into account any optional equipment.

WLTP values are used for assessing taxes and other vehicle-related charges that are (also) based on CO2 emissions, as well as for the purposes of vehicle-specific subsidies, if applicable. Where applicable, the NEDC values listed were calculated based on the new WLTP measurement procedure and then converted back to the NEDC measurement procedure for comparability reasons. For more information on the WLTP and NEDC measurement procedures, see bmw.de/wltp.

For further information about the official fuel consumption and the specific CO2 emission of new passenger cars can be taken out of the „handbook of fuel consumption, the CO2 emission and power consumption of new passenger cars“, which is available at all selling points and at dat.de/co2/.
