BMW has introduced updates for the all-electric i4 and the 4 Series Gran Coup, enhancing their appeal in the premium midsize segment. The i4 now offers a variant with electric all-wheel drive, while all combustion-engined 4 Series Gran Coup models come standard with the eight-speed Steptronic Sport transmission. Both models feature precise modifications to their exterior and interior, along with upgraded BMW iDrive systems with QuickSelect and additional digital services.
The exterior updates include a redesigned BMW kidney grille for the i4, with options for grille surround finishes. The headlights feature new LED structures and a Welcome Light Animation option. Various packages, such as the M Sport package, offer design enhancements, while new paint finishes and wheel options provide more customization choices.
Inside, the BMW Curved Display and newly designed steering wheels add a touch of sophistication. The interior trim elements and seating options have been upgraded, with additional standard features like ambient lighting and CraftedClarity glass applications. Digitalization has reduced the number of physical controls, with touch and voice commands now controlling various functions.
The BMW i4 offers four model variants, including electric all-wheel drive options, with advanced charging capabilities. The 4 Series Gran Coup is available with a range of engine options, including mild hybrid technology and all-wheel drive variants.
