The Problem
Most 1 Series vehicles do not come with the cup holder in the centre console as it was an optional extra from the factory
The BMW 1 Series does not come with a centre console cup holder unless selected at factory. From factory you could select a centre console where the the cup holder was molded into the design. If this option was not selected at factory the only solution until now was to replace the whole centre console with this type, this is both time consuming and can be costly, especially as trims vary. This has led to people fitting window or vent mounted cup holders, both far from ideal and the vent solutions often damage the vent.
Our Solution
Our cup holder fits directly in to the centre console, looks OEM and provides a cup holder without ruining the look of the interior.
Our cup holder is a direct fit and simply lowers in to the centre console. Our part is designed to look as close as possible to the OE cup holder. Injection moulded for a perfect fit and finish, in Black ABS to match the original colour of the interior. No need to file, fill, or paint like 3D printed alternatives available.
Unique in design our parts comes with 3 rubber grips in each cup holder recess to grip the cup. Adding more support and reflecting the design of the OE centre console with the cup holder.
Our part comes complete with 3M adhesive tape to retain the cup holder in position, please check out our video to see how easy it is to fit.
As our part comes with the rubber grips it does retain the cups, we recommend allowing the 3M tape to set overnight to fully retain the cupholder. Adhesive tape is only so good, if wishing to use the cupholder with the grips we recommend bonding the cup holder in to the centre console so it can't be pulled loose. Alteratively the rubber grips can also be removed so you can run the cupholder without.
