BMD has provided a much needed update, one I have been waiting for. 6.1 provides a bunch of great fixes for issues I and other users have had.

Update now!

If you ware having a connectivity problem with the update process, please try using a 2.0 or 1.0 port. You can do this via an adapter or 2.0 port as discussed in this video, or find an old computer with a 2.0/1.0 input. Should work.
