Samtec has implemented the use of Boston Micro Fabrication’s S230 #3dprinter platform, an advanced technology that allows for the speedy production of precise micro parts that could normally take weeks or months using conventional manufacturing methods. The BMF platform offers superior functionality over other machines, giving Samtec total control over production. The technology enables the construction of incredibly thin walls - under 1/1000 of an inch! The capabilities of the BMF printer have also prompted the revivification of earlier discarded concepts, which are currently under reconsideration, enabling Samtec to explore further opportunities for growth and innovation.
