In this one, we’re pushing some serious air. I’m plugging the Positive Grid Spark 2 directly into the Spark CAB to see just how massive a blues tone we can get in the room.
We are staying in the pocket of A Minor, focusing on that thick, saturated "cranked amp" feel. The Spark CAB is a 140-Watt powered FRFR cabinet that transforms this setup from a desktop practice tool into a stage-ready rig.
Why this combo works for Blues:
Air-Moving Presence: It provides the physical "thump" and low-end punch that small desktop amps usually lack.
Stage Volume: 140 watts of headroom means your A Minor licks stay clear and powerful without getting "muddy."
Spark 2 Synergy: Honestly, not much more I could ask for out of a practice setup. The Spark CAB really makes the Spark 2 shine in a live room environment.
Gear in this video:
Amp: Positive Grid Spark 2
Cabinet: Positive Grid Spark CAB (140W FRFR)
Guitar: EVH Wolfgang MIJ
Pedals: Wampler EGO 76 Compressor and Tumnus Deluxe OD
