Em HEARTLAND Rockin' BLUES backing track acoustic style Guitar Backing Track in E minor blues scale or G major - Em Blues/Heartland Rock Uptempo Solo Jamtrack
This is based off another popular heartland rock song from a couple of decades ago. I love this chord progression. Extremely uplifting and although the key is E minor Blues, the progression starts on a C, rising diatonically in whole tones up to the E which gives it a real feeling of travel and inspiration. After creating this I found myself probably using this more than all of my other tracks! I particularly enjoying working on my sweep arpeggios on this. I start with 3 string sweeps at the 12th position (C major), move to the D and then E minor. As I get warmed up, I move to the full five string versions of those sweeps. At the upbeat tempo of the backing track, it becomes a real workout!

Again for this track I broke out the Cornford Carrera (cornfordamps.com/carrera.htm) with a little heat. My Tanglewood (tanglewoodguitars.co.uk/) acoustic also was used to highlight the chords on the changes recorded with the Rode NT1-A Starter Kit (long-mcquade.com/7410/Pro_Audio_Recording/Microphones/Rode/NT1A_Package.htm). My pre-amp was the ART TRP Tube Pre-Amp (musiciansfriend.com/pro-audio/art-tps-ii-2-channel-variable-impedance-tube-preamp).
