What do you know... my twin showed up for Blues Friday and spent about 45 minutes on the Meinl Cajon before the recording session. Still working on proper hitting/slapping techniques. Never played a Cajon before. I even give the brushes a try. They sound better on the Cajon than a snare drum. The guitar is a Line 6 Variax 500 set to a 1961 Gibson ES-335 through a Line 6 Spider Amp. Both are modeling versions. I've been on guitar for about 9 months and really enjoying the practice. Don't play the bass so much anymore but still pick it up once a week or so. Try to work on guitar daily when possible. Still got a long way to go but it's fun now.
