Jack Haines walks through the BGX83, the biggest yacht the Bluegame has ever built, filmed at its world premiere at boot Düsseldorf 2026.
At 25.6m (83ft 11in), powered by triple 900hp Volvo Penta IPS1200s, the BGX83 cruises at 25 knots and tops out at 30. It builds on the BGX63 and 73, but adds more space, engine power, and, for the first time on a monohull, a helm on the flybridge.
The aft platform has a hydraulic lift, fold-down terraces, a fixed crane, and space for a 4m tender plus toys. Just above, the raised cockpit wraps around a teak-topped wet bar with twin fridges, a grill, and proper shelter. The foredeck is laid out as a second lounge with adjustable sun pads and split tables. The flybridge isn’t huge, but it adds a second helm, a convertible table, and somewhere to escape with a drink when the aft deck gets busy.
Inside, the galley is central on the main deck with a bar layout and hidden appliances. The lower helm sits ahead of the galley, with three large Garmin screens and a side door to the deck. Behind the galley, a small sofa softens the transition into the full-beam saloon. Step down, and the aft lounge sits at water level with direct access to the beach platform. This space also links to the full-beam owner’s suite, which can be opened up or closed off.
There are four guest cabins in this version, including two doubles forward, a bunk room to port, and the owner’s suite amidships. Crew get two cabins (one single and one bunk) with their own heads and internal access to the systems and deck.
It’s a clear step on from the BGX73 in every direction, but it keeps the same fast-running, owner-led orientation. If you’re looking for space, performance, and something that isn’t trying to be a mini-superyacht, the BGX83 lands in a smart and very liveable place.
