A scenic road trip up the Blue Ridge Parkway, seeing the sights and staying overnight at historic Pisgah Inn! Join us for something a bit different this time as we explore western North Carolina's crown jewel byway. Liz and I decided to get away for a weekend late last year and made it a couple of days up the Blue Ridge Parkway just weeks before Hurricane Helene devastated the region. The whole parkway isn't yet back open, but many of the businesses and stops we make are now re-opened and would appreciate your patronage!

Throwback hot lap! We got our NSX out to drive the Memphis International Raceway (MIR) road course (Drag strip loop) prior to the 2022 closure of the larger facility. It seems like a good time for this throw-back hot lap with the recent news about the IHRA trying to bring some life back to the old motorsports park! Our laps came courtesy of an SCCA Track Night in America event.

[Full Lap in Related Video!] A hot lap around Spa-Francorchamps in our 1992 NSX! ~320k miles, on Falken RT615+, KW V3, Hawk HP+. As is often the case, this was my 1st time on the track, traffic was chaotic with this being a public driving session, but Spa is absolutely amazing. Legendary for a reason!

In this DIY, we remove and replace a rear lower ball joint on a 1st gen NSX. This may seem slightly scary as it does involve wielding a big hammer around aluminum parts, but it will save you potentially $1000 vs. buying a whole new knuckle from Honda/Acura.
