Werribee Fire Brigade has made a small but significant change to their championships running uniforms, moving away from the traditional white running pants to a matching blue pant.
The team made the decision for the comfort and inclusion of the women runners in the team who are overjoyed they were able to have less to worry about on the track when competing this year.
Two women competitors from the team, Christina and Alannah spoke on what the change meant for them and why other teams should consider the move.
