Yamaha Racing Team’s Mike Jones returned to the podium at round four of the Australian Superbike Championship finishing the day in second place.
The 2026 season hasn’t gone the way Jones had hoped for, but he finally found some joy in a confidence boosting day at Morgan Park with two impressive rides and a result he and his team can be content with.
The wet weather in the area on Friday saw the Superbike riders with limited track time as showers and drizzle feel over the circuit all day, but thankfully Saturday dawned much clearer and it was back to business as usual for the remainder of the weekend.
