The Ballad blouse from Love Notions has a lot of options and beautiful details. I wanted to use this as a base to make a wonderful layering piece with no closures… no buttonholes and I think adding a few things would make this super special. I chose a gorgeous red linen! Let’s see!
You’ll see general construction & small changes that make a difference: Straight hem, patch pockets, waist casing/drawstring, binding around edges…. A cool little topper or coverup in Linen. It’s a dream.
