Hi butterflies!!!

This is the prize piece for the DTIYS I held over on my Instagram. Character is Wisteria belonging to Sp0ttedfur!! The design is soo pretty, she was a lot of fun to draw. The request was a halfbody piece with flowers in a simple background. I'm really happy with how this turned out and especially proud of the flowers. Something did feel a little off about the character in the end. My mom and I agree we think it is the eyes, I didn't add enough shading around them to feel more apart of the face. Looking at it more it might also be the way I did the lineart. I did it a bit different than normal, but I still really like it.
Also this was suppose to be up last week, but my usb hard drive has been corrupting all the video files I try to transfer to it. As well as just corrupting other files in general. I actually redrew this piece because it broke the original. I'm kinda happy I did though cuz it turned out much better, but I think I like the lineart from the first time better. That's also why the lineart looks different in the beginning of the video. I lost the lining of the second attempt to my usb so I just combined the rest with the lineart of the first attempt which was kinda intact. I got a new usb and was having the same issues. I think I may have figured out why though. I didn't know you need to format a hard drive before using it and didn't with mine. However, it also is taking an actual week to format (it is a 1tb tho). I have my old laptop it is formatting on. I was told if it is taking that long though the drive is probably corrupted, but it is a full format not quick format so idk. I'm just gonna let it finish and hopefully it works properly. For now I have everything on my laptop, so stuff isn't getting messed up by my usb anymore.
I also started using streamlabs obs to record since obs (which I normally use) is now set up for recording gameplays, but I forgot to change the recording settings so it was skipping a lot of frames. That's why it gets a bit choppy in the middle, but I fixed that so recordings are looking fine again.
Woooo yea lots of tech issues lately, but I think I've fixed it all for the most part. That was also kinda messing up videos, so hopefully now I can get back on schedule XD Though I have also been doing some big animation projects which takes up a lot of time, so that's also partly why videos have been a bit all over the place for the past month. However, I'm nearly finished with that, it's an animation meme. So expect to see that soon!!!^^

P.s. also super excited to show you guys Saturday's speedpaint. It's super cute and I love it^^ Hint: it has to do with the big art challenge going around for this month ^.-
