30 for 30 Sunscreen Challenge (7/30)
Today we're testing Bloomeffects Tulipscreen Dew Serum SPF 50.
First impressions were positive. The texture feels lightweight, comfortable, and sets quickly without feeling greasy, dry, or powdery.
However, the "dew" in the name is no joke. This sunscreen leaves a very dewy finish that may be too shiny for some skin types and preferences.
After a few hours of normal wear, the sunscreen film showed some unevenness in the UVA camera. While UV cameras cannot measure protection directly, they can provide a rough visual snapshot of how a sunscreen film appears over time.
Our biggest takeaway:
• Comfortable texture
• Quick dry down
• Very dewy finish
• Film may be less resilient to rubbing and face contact
