BLOOM is the DOOM & BLOOD mashup created by a team behind this project led by Drugod, there is a fully functional Episode called 'The Way of The Flesh', played on the Ultra-Crispy difficulty, as many secrets found I could. The last three levels of the BLOOM Episode 'The Way of The Flesh' are quite long thus I had to separate them from shorter first 5 maps in The Void, they are also much harder and difficult to navigate than starters. The Ghost Downtown is a map already present in the BLOOM 1.666 demo, the map is basically the same but all of the inactive secret sectors had been fixed and getting all 4 secrets grant you 100% correctly. Map takes approximately 20+ minutes to be completed and some backtracking is involved to finish this, find few keys after exploring a subway and head to the demonic fortress (very similar to the MAP15 Downtown from DOOM II) and head to the hospital. MAP07 Dark Station as by name takes a lot of places from both Computer Station and Dark Carnival from DOOM and Blood respectively, this is in my opinion an incredibly difficult level to be completed on Ultra-Crispy for several reasons. First this map is quite long and you will have to discover lots of place to progress, some areas are placed underwater so you are going to use a diving suit if you want to survive, of course water is populated by these fast swimming monsters. Second an amount of high tier monsters including Baron of Hell hybrids that can kill you with one hit is quite high here, another problems comes from a very weak BFG that is nowhere as powerful as in the vanilla DOOM against anything. The Pub part is a very difficult one when played on higher difficulties, you will be swarmed by lots of enemies including these bigger, Dark Carnival part also includes several annoying underbosses and Jojo with minigun at the end of map. Once this very difficult map is completed it's time for a final map that is ia mix of several different maps from Blood and DOOM - you land in Tricks & Traps but you are also going to explore Circle of Death, House Of Horrors, Altar of Stone, Phobos Anomaly or Dis. This is the level that by far is the hardest one in the episode as it includes several boss fights against very tough Hybrids, in my opinion these Mancubus and Eel hybrids are way too overpowered as their NUKE projectiles can kill you with one shot. When you arrive at the final arena that looks like E3M8 Dis, you reached the end of this episode but first you need to fight against multiple BOSSES spawning right after each other, be prepared for a really tough fights against all of them.

PROJECT BRUTALITY 3.0 and Trick and Tear 2 for Doom II Hell On Earth by various authors on Man And A Half Difficulty level, Chaotic Random Spawn Preset, 100% Secrets Achieved. Project Brutality 3.0 is an upcoming version of one of the best available mods for the classic Doom - expect a lot of fun when playing it. Please note that the Project Brutality 3.0 in its current state is still Work In Progress, so bugs are to be expected, together with crashes to desktop (same with addons, they are not 100% always compatible and actual). Trick and Tear 2 is a megawad that consists of 32 dark-themed maps across the WAD, but be warned because the levels itself are tricky and can be also challenging, especially with one nasty trick. Doomguy does not transfer the weapons, health, armor and items whenever you exit a level, so every weapon and even better a backpack that extends your ammo cap, is simply vanished with new level. This makes the WAD a little bit harder because everytime you start just with a default gear (in case of Project Brutality, just a standard assault rifle + semi automatic pistol), and levels love to troll you. Because of the compatibility issues, I decided to simply skip some levels during the playthrough, you cannot simply wield any weapons like in the MAP04 even after hitting a switch, the give all cheat is needed. The WAD also has the custom monsters like Trites, Poison Elementals together with poisoning Lost Souls, Fodder zombies that cannot do anything and just walk, the Black Hounds that are variation of pinkies and so on. Levels are mostly short while having lots of monsters, but because their layouts are also quite simplistic, you will not have much trouble with navigation while playing, just pay attention at monster count. Authors also loved placing the traps for you while playing, for example you have a small room with two pickups inside - armor and a keycard, every pickup activates a separate trap unleashing lots of monsters. Or you see the long invincible Plutonia like bridge in a large room, you can surely bet that when you cross it at one point, even a hundred or so monsters will spawn to make your life miserable, trust me. One of the levels even throws you immediately in the middle of the fight with several hundreds in a small chamber, thankfully there is a BFG to pick up just... first you need to find it fighting the monsters.

Project Brutality 3.0 is an upcoming version of one of the best available mods for the classic Doom - expect a lot of fun when playing it. If you know DOOM community for some time, you must have probably heard about Hissy, a plush Cacodemon created back in the 94-95, this small addon gives you a possibility to have a baby Cacodemon companion that is really handy. Hissy is basically invulnerable and cannot be destroyed by anything, she also deals some damage and loves to engage the enemies on her own, even hunting them while you are somewhere else, she also loves to get stuck. She also has a melee attack with her sharp teeth engaging the enemies who are really close to her, she is also very mobile and loyal to you, floating next to the Doomguy as close as possible, loving to obstruct your view. As for the mappack by BigDaveHadSomeToo, currently there are six maps from the classic Techbase feeling, as he stated himself it is a reimagination of first six maps of DOOM 2 with some E1 feeling and adding a little bit of hell to it. First map is pretty straightforward as always, it has some monsters as in the original but a little bit more but you need two keycards to finish the level, way less secrets than before (just 2) but would you expect a Hell Knight already this early? Second map is a reendition of the Underhalls in a very similar manner just way more difficult than in the original, while lots of the level does not seem to be a difficult thing, the ending with lots of Knights and Barons might be troublesome. Next level that is a remake of the Gantlet, introduces a one new secret that gives your a Rocket Launcher for the first time (there is no RL in the Entryway), this map is a lot way more different than the original one. The reimagination of The Focus is also a little bit different but it reminds the original a lot, one of the most disliked The Waste Tunnels had been changed a lot to make the map a little bit faster and with way more darker Hellish vibe. The Crusher had been changed to a Datum Centre that is a way smaller map and also way more cramped with less place to hide, hope you have a really powerful Plasma Rifles at the end because the final fight is surely not easy to overcome.

This E1M1 Hangar Remake needs OBLIGATORY D64fier Core File to be running properly, otherwise you will see missing textures pretty much since the start, the PBR + HD Textures wont work here with this mappack. The textures for this mappack are already placed within the main Arachnotron Invasion file + inside the D64fier Core file, in overall this adds a nice touch of the DOOM 3 and DOOM 64 to the levels, they are way grittier than vanilla. Ok, so this E1M1 Remake gives you some custom textures, plus you might ask yourselves why is it called ARACHNOTRON INVASION, well its because this remake needs DOOM II as a base to be booted, so naturally you have some Arachnotrons. The level includes also the other DOOM 2 monsters like Chaingunners (but thankfully no Revenants or Archviles), plus you already have higher tier monsters present like the Lost Souls or Cacodemons from the Episode 2. This version of Hangar might be difficult at start because of the limited weaponry that player has access to and quite early Arachnotrons but it gets easier over time, just dont be too overconfident while playing. Because some of the monsters are really nicely played over the map, add to this a darkness in some areas because of D64 climax and you will get a full quad shotgun blast to the face without spotting a Quadgunner. Hangar gets tons of secrets waiting for you to explore, however they appear later during the playthrough, there are already a Rocket Launcher with a Plasma Rifle to be picked up from some of these secret areas. And you are going to need these weapons because there are almost 200 monsters present on this map, especially a Rocket Launcher against groups of enemies will be handy. The level ends once you reach the tram, you will get teleported probably to a placeholder level that is a Tricks and Traps from DOOM II Hell On Earth, but named The Portal.

DOOM 2 REDUX is a megawad that has 32 levels and of course, these are the recreations of DOOM 2 levels, starting from the Entryway up to the Icon of Sin with secret maps, but of course these maps are a little bit more difficult. Even the first level can be a challenge because there are way more monsters with more complex level layout (you actually need to find some keycards already), plus the fights might be a little bit overwhelming. Truth is, several monsters also appear way faster than in the vanilla Doom II Hell On Earth, for example up to map 6 you wont find Pain Elementals but in this WAD they appear much earlier tho. Same with the appearance of Cyberdemon, while in DOOM II it first appeared during the Tricks & Traps MAP08, here it is a boss of The Crusher where it appears guarding a final elevator up to Dead Simple. The first level Entryway is quite original because it seems that our Doomguy has some hallucinations and he may teleport himself to the hellish realm twice, this one bit is interesting and really surprising. The Underhalls are a little bit longer than previously with even a way faster appearance of Rocket Launcher in this level, there are also way monsters with appearance of the Cacodemons for the first time in DOOM 2. The Gantlet oh boy... this one level is way way longer with appearance of Hell Knights already in MAP03, it also has tons of secrets to find (9!), you can also grab a Plasma Rifle here already so early in the game. The Focus and the Waste Tunnels are rather shorter levels than in the vanilla, Focus is also a pretty simple map with already 4 secrets and they are pretty easy to find, Waste Tunnels are just way more challenging. But in the case of The Crusher well, its really more difficult than in the vanilla, you have to solve the puzzle to destroy the Spider Mastermind with efficiency, plus the map is way more tricky and dangerous.

Knee Deep In The Dead Enhanced is a small improvement over the E1 with some lighting added in lots of places over the entire episode + there are also very very small changes rooms like using room over room in few places. Ive also decided to use two new different addons, one of them is the Monster Pack Extra Ultimate that adds several new monsters to the roster, but because its the shareware episode we might see only the cannon fodder zombies. The second one is the Bullet Time X created by Xortts and in my opinion this is one of the most interesting universal mods (it works with pretty much every mod, you just have to load it as the last addon in load order). You have even the same hourglass as it was in the Max Payne (if you played Max Payne series as much as I did you will recognize it instantly), remember to bind the buttons if you want to activate the bullet time, otherwise it wont work. Bullet Time works almost the same as it was in Max Payne, it replenishes when enemies are killed (while in MP2 it replenished over the time) but it does not deplete once you are in the air, so jumps with bullet time are great to use. The modification is highly customizable and you can adjust the duration and multiplier of Bullet Time, you can make it really slow and long to be activated, it can help you in a lot of difficult situations, especially when tons of projectiles are close. As for the mappack, it gives you a standard set of 9 levels (with Military Base being of course a secret level), if you played this episode as much as I did, you will most likely run through it like a breeze. There are not any difficult situations but oh boy, because of these fodder zombies lying pretty much everywhere on the levels you might run fast out of ammo, several times had this problem when fodder simply drained it. As bosses however we are going to meet the Bruiser Brothers again, but this time on the small steroids - by the way if you are confused why do I have a Gauss Cannon, remember that upgrades are spawned in place of the backpacks.
