So... it took:
• thinking about a stupid (probably to everyone else) cosplay idea for Kenji, mainly him wearing the outfit of Kazuuji Nakamura (Samurai Warriors 5) since it fits him too well and getting a request involving that idea approved
• checking a tweet about Ryo Horikawa's birthday (and I'm a day late. yikes)
• rewatching one of my old Bloody Roar uploads that's basically just someone requesting me to play as Stun a bunch of times
• FINALLY GETTING ACCESS TO THE ISO OF THE JAPANESE VERSION OF BLOODY ROAR 1
To finally get back into my Bloody Roar arc, and finally in my own terms rather than a bunch of assholes demanding me to do request uploads while not subscribed to me and at the same time backseat me over what to upload on MY channel (banning them access aside from elitists). In all honesty, it's been months since my last upload for any game of this obscure yet awesome series
Anyway this is Part 1 of the belated Ryo Horikawa tribute 😅 Just in time for my very first upload of this version of Bloody Roar 1... and yes, it's surreal seeing Greg as Black. inb4 "Why did they whitewash him?" 😅
But really though, the real highlight of this playthrough is doing the rapid-fire fisticuffs move TWICE, whilemaking sure I didn't suffer any continues since I didn't set the character switch upon continue or whatever that was setting to OFF, which is more ideal for fighting game playthroughs tbh
This must be the very first playthrough I was forced to trim at the end too... normally raw playthrough uploads don't give me trouble near the end when I finish recording them. Freaking giant RANKING text got in the way after the fade-to-black transition 😅
