We finally got the debut of Season 5! And with it, Bloodsport got its first fight of the season. This will be the first of several Fight Recap videos following Bloodsport through Battlebots. In this video, I’ll be talking about our reaction to finding out our opponent, what we thought about the matchup, why we chose the configuration we went with, and what our general strategy was. Then, I’ll talk about the damage we dealt, the damage we suffered, and talk about any problems we had that might not have shown up on the show.

Note: The part at the end talking about wedgelet failures was mostly speculation on my part. We didn't have the time or need to do any proper analysis to determine exactly what failed in both cases. But clearly even if the welds on one part held up the other would have failed either by being simply ripped apart or some other means. Skorpios' wedge is much beefier and more solid than the aluminum threaded rod and welded mounts will ever be.
