Track 3 - BLOODRUSH | Exploring A T M O S P H E R I C S
Depicting a tumultuous relationship with addiction, "BLOODRUSH" communicates the rush people seek to get through the day, without consideration of the consequences that follow. There is an acknowledgement of deep entanglement in what is a destructive cycle - feeling enslaved by the allure of drugs or other unhealthy coping mechanisms, as well as the casual culture surrounding them.
For each video on the Tropo Volume, we had four local dancers come in and we gave them 1 hour to listen to a song and choreograph a dance that would be used as part of the videos. We were stoked to have them involved in the creative process.
