In today's video we look at how powerful Bloodborne's hidden SSR (screenspace reflections) really are, as they automatically apply to the entire scene, which actually goes far beyond what SSR is utilized for in sekiro, elden ring, and ac6. It was never enabled for Bloodborne and I imagine a large part of that was for performance reasons since it was for PS4 only. And never got a PS4 Pro patch. Beyond that I also show a heightmap made by fromsoft for parallax occlusion mapping, but also went unused, until now. Lastly, as a treat, I enabled FULL planar reflections in the fishing hamlet and fight Orphan with him and the whole environment showing up in the reflections. #bloodborne #bloodbornepc #shadps4
