Limited in use (as it does almost no damage -- under 200 hit points on a triple hit) and useless in PVP -- it's particularly effective against certain boss enemies as their HP pools are usually enormous:
Living Failures
Wet Nurse
Elder/Descendant
Undead Giant
Keeper of the Old Lords
Blood Starved Beast
Celestial Emissary
Proc'ing Rapid Poison vs any of these enemies will do 'visceral' like damage (ripping off chunks of HP -- it's around 10% of total... Which is why it's useless in PVP... but vs an Undead Giant with 25k HP.... yeah, it does fantastic dmg for the effort involved.
I used the wheel due to the triple hit in tricked mode... Basically I'm applying around 60 points of rapid poison 3x with each triple... Chikage is also a decent vehicle for RP as in tricked mode is delivers 30, even without gems...
