An abyssal gem didn't drop here (but it was my fastest run... and who likes long videos?) -- the Elder on layer 3 regularly drops abyssals... even though I only got a rank 18 here... Keep trying!

This is very doable in ~10 mins... in fact I did it 3 times - but an abyssal didn't drop at the end... This was my best run where an abyssal dropped:

I'd also probably recommend save scumming when you get to layer 3 to avoid re-running the whole thing again if you get a shit gem (like the one in this video)

This video shows you the lever routes, boss kills and fastest method to finish this dungeon in the least amount of time possible for radial cold abyssal blood gems - which are used to increase scaling on arcane, fire and bolt weapons.
