In another episode of 'underrated books', I decided to cover the first of Laird Barron's Isaiah Coleridge novels Blood Standard, an old school noir that takes place in our modern day. While Barron is known for his work in cosmic horror, I had to see what he would do with a noir story...and I wasn't disappointed.
