I must say I liked this movie ten times more than the first season of The Witcher series. Despite all its flaws, the main characters (Vesemir, Deglan, Illyana and Tetra) were really interesting and their motivations were understandable, even if often not admirable. My relationship with the whole Witcher franchise is slightly complicated, as I am not really a fan of the books, but still appreciate them as the most internationally known Polish fantasy novels. Also, many top Polish fantasy writers are total dickheads and Sapkowski is much better (the bar is very low though). So, I am happy I enjoyed this movie. I hope there will be more Witcher animated films.
