Happy Mother's Day 2026. Not everyone is blessed with a good mom.

I see the 8 year old me sitting so quietly
in a room that belonged to my dad.
A little life in turmoil, blood starting to boil.
I wanted to keep my dog so bad.

Sure enough I was dismissed, what’s a life without risk?
One that this fatherless child now has.

You were absent all throughout my past.

A boy just needing some love, but just drawing up blood
From a heart that is slowly dying.
I would think of what could be, found out you replaced me.
