A song seemingly written before the Dutch involvement in WW2 describing the situation of the Netherland's neutrality (represented by the Blondine and all the boys who want her. The Blondine being the Queen of the Netherlands/the nation herself), but was eventually used as a resistance song for the Dutch fighters combating Nazi occupation. Thus why it's displayed as a pre-war and resistance song.
Correct me if I'm mistaken.
