Blockchain Ultra 1.1 is here, and this update adds some seriously powerful workflow and creative upgrades. In this video, I walk through what’s new in Blockchain Ultra version 1.1.2, show how the new chain system works, and demonstrate how these features can speed up your mixing and sound design process.
The standout addition is the new Quick Load Chain system, which lets you instantly recall complex multi-module chains with a single click. From Hype and Lo-Fi to Drum, Mix Bus, Halfspeed, Resampler, and Deep Space chains, you can jump between sounds faster than ever — or create and save your own custom chains that load automatically when you open the plugin.
Another major workflow improvement is the new Mix Lock feature, which allows you to lock your dry/wet balance while browsing presets and chains. This makes it much easier to audition sounds without constantly resetting your mix knob.
I also cover the new Random Chain Builder, which is perfect for creative exploration and breaking out of repetitive processing habits. Whether you’re working on guitars, drums, vocals, or full mixes, Blockchain Ultra 1.1 opens up new ways to experiment quickly.
