This is my playthrough of a mod for Half-Life 2 created by Swiss_Cheese9797.
You play as a guy named Shaun, an irritable smartass. He and his friend Toby go trick-or-treating one Halloween night, until boredom strikes. Shaun persuades his friend to go visit the Murder House where an ancient secret is then stumbled upon due to Shauns perseverance with screwing up rituals.
I have a soft spot for homemade games because I know what its like to have a creative idea that just needs to get out there, so hardwork is applied to bring it to life. The final product may not be perfect, but it didnt matter. Something amazing was born.
Unfortunately my endeavors into the game-creation community were largely failures. This mod is much better than the games I have created, but it still reminds me of my old games. Pumpkin Night could use some polishing, but I believe that its still a fun little Halloween-themed adventure. I just love Halloween.
This mod is a prequel to an even bigger game that the author was developing. It would have been called Halloween HL2: The Traveler. The author has disappeared from the mod community shortly after Pumpkin Nights release, and the Traveler was never released.
The author probably had to quit because of lifes many challenges I understand that entirely.
