In World War II London, nine-year-old George is evacuated to the countryside by his mother, Rita, to escape the bombings. Defiant and determined to return to his family, George embarks on a journey back home as Rita searches for him.

Blitz movie is directed by Academy Award-winner Steve McQueen. Cinesite has recreated the 1940s London environment and created around 140 invisible VFX shots. Bombing scenes and small details of the old era have been shown through VFX, which makes the story look even more real.
