The character shown here is Tony, a German Shepherd living in a post apocalyptic city. Tony lives on his own, preferring to stay away from other dogs. All humans either died from radiation poisoning, due to a fallout, or were evacuated. Tony’s owner was one of the unfortunate to fall victim to the poisoning, as he refused to leave Tony behind (they couldn’t take the dogs or any other pets with them, as there was a risk of the radiation spreading with the animals if they left). Tony was left on his own to survive and struggled to find food and clean water. Overtime, he became a tough loner, though he keeps his collar so he can hang onto to past. It’s a way of keeping his sanity from slipping away completely.
Tony is the definition of neutral. He stays away from all packs and loners, only joining or fighting with others if the situation could favor him in the end result. If he sees a dog or animal in peril, he’d rather walk the other direction then try to help. However, he is not necessarily cruel or heartless, as he’s just trying to survive. In a post apocalyptic world, trusting others can be dangerous and Tony understands that. He does have a heart and even helps out those who he joins with temporarily with scavenging and hunting. He’s a bit antisocial, which unusual for dogs, as they are social animals. This is because he had a quiet life as a pet and after the fallout, grew used to being on his own.
