Reading Borough Council’s decision to turn off pedestrian crossing lights for a trial has made some crossings in the town centre a "logistical nightmare" for visually impaired pedestrians.
One such pedestrian, former Paralympian Simon Goodall, says that coming into Reading fills him "with dread".
Reading Council say they understand people's concerns but add that the switch-off is part of a 6-month trial, which it's hoped will benefit road users and pedestrians.
