How bad could it be though? The treasures down here are plentiful. Slates of knowledge that only you have been beholden to. "We can never dig too deep", you sing to yourself in the dark, blind and alone. An old miner's chant, warming your heart against the cold green.
Nobody sings with you, though.
Except... It.
It hears you.
It agrees.
