Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness' sake,
For theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

If you follow the Lord Jesus as his disciple you will be persecuted and suffer in this lost, blind and wicked world. Far better be it to follow and stand with almighty God than to side with lost mankind. For destruction and emptiness is the way of the world, but eternal life, joy and great reward is that of a true disciple. Any suffering endured for His namesake while here on earth is pale to the great happiness given in heaven to those who believe and commit to Christ.
