Having concept art to work from is fantastic for a 3D artist. But the best concept artists won't just give you a blueprint to build from. You'll get several sketches. And you'll still want to collect your own references.
So how do you go about choosing what to include and what to discard? In this video we'll do a speed sculpt based on the concept art by Piper Thibodeau and talk about how an artist goes about making these kinds of choices.
