Learn how to quickly set up a simple studio lighting with a smooth backdrop using Blender Cycles! The video is played in real time (60fps), and covers the entire process from modeling to final render.

Note:
The hotkeys are probably fading out too quickly, but please feel free to pause the video whenever you want so you can see what's going on more clearly.

Stuff I forgot:
• Make sure you are using the Cycles Render engine.
• The hotkey for Rendered Viewport Shading (0:03) is "[SHIFT] + Z".
• To change the color/material of the backdrop you can click "NEW" under the Material slot in the Properties panel to the right (0:15).
• The camera in this scene has an Aperture Radius of 0.200, and an Aperture Ratio of 2.0.
• This video was recorded using Fraps (with a GTX 980 Ti).
