This video was an excuse to test GPU rendering at a friends house. It was also an excuse for testing a possible workflow for sampled motion blur with Cycles.

Basically I slowed down the final animation 8 times in Blender using the Time Remapping options in the Render panel. I then rendered each frame with 8 times less samples AND with a different seed value for each frame.

Then, I imported the frames into After Effects, and speed up the sequence by 8 using the Time Stretch option. Then I enable Frame Blending and that is all. This produced the realistic motion blur as seen.
