From time to time, a game, movie or novel comes out that has a big inspiring impact on me. In these cases, I often can't resist to sit down in my little studio and write music based on the experience that medium delivered. Elden Ring is one of the games that inspired me in a way that not many other games or movies come close to.
That's why I worked on this original piece in the last weeks. Composing time became a bit rare because our son was born in March and - as one might guess - is turning our lives upside down now ;). But, especially with regard to this wonderful event and the new conditions, I'm totally happy that I was able to finally finish it. It was an amazing experience to try to capture the unique dark Souls-mood as well as the more noble and glorious Elden Ring elements in this piece. Can't wait to hear your feedback on this one!
