This was a rough experience to say the least, I can’t say I enjoyed this. This level has very fun base gameplay, but it has too many problems from start to finish that I can’t enjoy it.
I enjoyed learning it, but it was such a pain from 0. There are quite a few chokepoints scattered throughout, which wouldn’t be so bad if the level ended before the last spider. I do want to mention the red orb at 69%, I’m not sure how that timing was just left in the level.
However, this spider is definitely my biggest complaint with the level. It is so much harder than the rest and the timings are ridiculous, not to mention it uses 2.2 spider physics, so if your spider walks off the platform even slightly, you can’t click. I have no idea why Rob added this, and this part definitely would be more manageable without that.
Despite me talking down on the level, I have to give it some credit, the gameplay is very satisfying to pull off, which made it at least bearable, and it looks very cool. Sadly, my experience really brought it down, I probably died to the last spider about 15 times, I don’t know if that’s bad luck, or if that’s just the part being unfair. (if you couldn’t tell, I really don’t like this part)
Definitely the most I’ve struggled with an insane demon in a long time, in my humble opinion, this should be extreme demon. If some chokepoints were fixed and the ending was nerfed, I would say this is a great level, but in this state, I sadly can’t say I’d recommend this.
