BLAZE OF GLORY – EPISODE TWO (THE EPIC CONCLUSION)
This isn’t just another motorcycle adventure video…
This is the day EVERYTHING went wrong.
After conquering day one with laughs, mud and mayhem, we woke up sore, dusty and maybe slightly hungover—but ready for more adventure. We rode out of Denman, saw ancient Aboriginal rock art, climbed brutal rocky hills and battled swamp crossings… but nothing could prepare us for what was coming.
Because somewhere out on the trail… Santiago crashed his Tenere 700.
No one saw it.
No one heard it.
And in one simple mix-up, we all thought he was somewhere else.
While we kept riding, joking, regrouping and pushing forward, Santiago was lying injured deep in the bush. Other riders—complete strangers—found him and got him to safety. We didn’t. And that reality hit HARD.
From that moment on, the fun turned into fear.
We were hurtling through the bush with dread in our guts.
Trying to catch him.
Trying to find reception.
Trying not to crash ourselves.
Eventually the truth came out:
Santiago was in an ambulance on his way to hospital.
Broken back in FOUR places.
Broken neck.
Bleeding on the brain.
And yet… he survived.
The next day, we launched Operation T7 Recovery — our most ridiculous and heroic mission yet. This time we had a winch, a trailer AND a clue (a miracle!). We fought through brutal terrain, became accidental bush mechanics, and winched that wounded Tenere out of the mountains one painful meter at a time. There was brake fluid everywhere, the dash was hanging by wires, and we even found a mystery bolt sitting on a rock like it was placed there by the Crash Fairy!
We got the bike out.
We got our mate back.
And two days later, we visited Santiago in hospital…
Santiago, the man always screaming for DRAMA!
And that, ladies and gentlemen… is why we love him.
