In continuing my adventures through this game I've learned that while Sophia has a GREAT amount of trouble navigating the water, apparently I don't have the same problem. Yes, the character is just a squishy human in a suit with a peashooter for a gun, but that doesn't stop him from being able to swim, apparently.
