In order to find out what the impact of an explosion on a structure would be, you need to replicate the shock wave of the detonation. These are some early tests in Blender to accomplish this using tracer-like particles to make the forces visible. This obviously only works for high speed simulations but I'm interested to make this work on actual rigid body structures within the correct time scale of course.
